About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and lead the Corporate Giving engineering organization
- Recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent
- Contribute directly to technical work
- Own the technical direction for Corporate Giving
- Lead the migration from the legacy disbursement platform
- Maintain the technical depth needed to evaluate architectural decisions
- Own delivery outcomes across the domain
- Partner with Product, Customer Success, and enterprise clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 5+ years in engineering leadership at Director level or equivalent
- Experience building and scaling multi-team engineering organizations
- Ability to own or co-own a product roadmap alongside product leadership
- Deep technical credibility
- Familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js and AWS serverless infrastructure
- Experience with compliance programs at scale (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or equivalent)
- AI-first mindset
- Strong communication skills
