About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and schedule patient testing and procedures
- Interact with physician offices and other health care providers
- Enter patient data into the computer system and complete general office work
- Serve as receptionist for patients
- Communicate any changes affecting the next day’s schedule
- Maintain and secure replacement staff for staffing levels
- Review and correct weekly attendance sheets to ensure accurate payroll
- Verify patient information from physician’s offices
- Communicate special equipment, instruments, and supply requests
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Associate degree in business, Healthcare, or related field (preferred)
- 2 years of previous scheduling and payroll experience (preferred)
