About the role
- The Financial Analyst responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes
- Analyzing financial statements and reports
- Developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis
- Collecting, interpreting, and identifying trends in data
- Providing financial guidance and assisting with monthly close processes
- Examines historical and projected financial data
- Performs a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting
- Developing standard and ad hoc reports
- Assisting in imports or exports of data
- Performing periodic audits of data sources
- Maintain a current knowledge of healthcare trends and operations
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports
- Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports
- Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or comparable discipline; or combination of post-secondary education and experience (required)
- 1+ year of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting (preferred)
- Healthcare experience (preferred)
