About the role
- Manages and coordinates the daily operations of all assigned areas in Imaging
- Oversees imaging services optimizing patient, associate, and physician experience
- Maintains a productive work environment meeting professional, regulatory, and accreditation standards
- Collaborates effectively with imaging personnel, inter-disciplinary departments, facility leadership, Director of Imaging, and Medical Director of Imaging
- Provides an environment of open communication and support among all team members
- Assures compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards
- Promotes and initiates performance improvement activities
Requirements
- Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), or NMTC (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) (required)
- State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)
- BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care)
- Bachelor Degree (Preferred)
- 2 years' experience in clinical environment (required)
- 2 years' experience as a supervisor or leadership (preferred)
- Advanced Imaging Technologies (preferred)
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred)
