About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in preparing and delivering timely financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly closing activities.
- Analyze business performance metrics, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with departments to implement cost-saving initiatives, monitor progress, and report on realized benefits.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operational teams, offering guidance and financial expertise to drive business objectives and improve profitability.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support business cases, investment appraisals, and management requests.
- Take part in various projects as needed, contributing your expertise to enhance business performance and strategic outcomes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s Degree in Economics or equivalent
- At least 3 years of professional experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Effective collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Fluency in Croatian and English
