About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assemble and install rigging systems to support cameras around the court
- Conduct rigging activities in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Follow risk assessments and ensure equipment is securely fastened and stable
- Run cables neatly to prevent trip hazards
- Safely handle and transport rigging and camera equipment
- Ensure tools and hardware are in proper working condition
- Adjust camera positions and rigging setups to project requirements
- Troubleshoot rigging or mechanical issues during installation
- Collaborate with camera system operators, technical team, and event coordinators to achieve desired camera angles and shots
- Stay in contact with Bolt6 operators during matches and address arising issues
- Safely dismantle rigging systems and cables after events
- Perform necessary maintenance or repairs on rigging equipment
- Pack cameras, cables, and kit into designated cases
Requirements

- Ability to work quickly and make effective decisions

- Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines while remaining organised
- Ability to lift equipment and work in physically demanding conditions
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and on catwalks
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate event timing and setup requirements
- Experience in rigging at sports events or concerts (nice to have)
- Knowledge of camera rigging systems and various types of rigging hardware and techniques (nice to have)
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to rigging and working at heights (nice to have)
