About the role

  • Provide daily assistance with internal/risk/compliance controls and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Regularly test and audit compliance controls for all product lines, report findings and lead the creation of mitigation plans.
  • Prepare legal memorandums, and draft policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the team management.
  • Provide legal assistance on employment and HR-related matters for the Polish office.
  • Conduct legal research and perform legal work regarding local and international laws and regulations on a variety of topics.
  • Support the team on contract drafting, review and negotiation, including managing relationships with internal teams and review/redline vendor agreements.
  • Provide legal advice to the Company’s product and development teams.

Requirements

  • Strong academic background and a master's degree in law.
  • Admission to the practice of law in Poland is required (radca prawny).
  • 1 to 3 years of law firm practice or equivalent in-house experience is a must.
  • Strong legal research skills.
  • At least C1 in English and fluent in Polish.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask.
  • Critical thinking and innovation-mindset.
  • Professionalism, positive attitude and dedication to ethical conduct.
  • Familiarity with the handling of sensitive data and confidential information. Desire and enthusiasm to work collaboratively as part of a team.
