About the role
- Provide daily assistance with internal/risk/compliance controls and regulatory compliance matters.
- Regularly test and audit compliance controls for all product lines, report findings and lead the creation of mitigation plans.
- Prepare legal memorandums, and draft policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the team management.
- Provide legal assistance on employment and HR-related matters for the Polish office.
- Conduct legal research and perform legal work regarding local and international laws and regulations on a variety of topics.
- Support the team on contract drafting, review and negotiation, including managing relationships with internal teams and review/redline vendor agreements.
- Provide legal advice to the Company’s product and development teams.
Requirements
- Strong academic background and a master's degree in law.
- Admission to the practice of law in Poland is required (radca prawny).
- 1 to 3 years of law firm practice or equivalent in-house experience is a must.
- Strong legal research skills.
- At least C1 in English and fluent in Polish.
- High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask.
- Critical thinking and innovation-mindset.
- Professionalism, positive attitude and dedication to ethical conduct.
- Familiarity with the handling of sensitive data and confidential information. Desire and enthusiasm to work collaboratively as part of a team.
