Analyze applicability of global trade control requirements to Business Programs (export and import).
Develop and deploy regulatory documentation for business programs which may include multiple agencies and authorization types.
Partner on initiatives with Global Trade Controls in a collaborative environment.
Identify and implement opportunities to reduce landed cost and obtain duty savings, including Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Chapter 98 Provisions and sourcing.
Partner with Procurement, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Global Trade Controls to ensure import/export activity meet regulatory requirements.
Perform compliance assessments and audits for both export and import processes; remediate findings and implement controls to reduce risk.
Develop overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, PMBOK, ANSI, and ISO standards).
Works to improve project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.
May lead others and direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
Act as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Requirements
Experience with Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
Experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Experience participating on compliance assessment activities supporting global trade controls matters
Experience working in a cross-functional environment
Experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
Experience building relationships with internal and/or external customers
Bachelor’s degree or higher
