About the role
- Participates in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
- Design and develop cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services that meet the organization's requirements
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, including compute, storage, networking, and security
- Proficiency in cloud services and tools (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda for AWS; VMs, Blob Storage, Azure Functions for Azure; Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions for GCP)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Deploy new applications to the cloud and migrate existing applications from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and infrastructure management using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- 3+ years of experience moving applications to Docker and Kubernetes or managing applications in Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience with collaboration tools Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and leading technical projects
