About the role

Estimates the impact of proposed changes to publication elements.
Collects, researches and analyzes technical source data and specifications.
Validates source data based on predefined and developed assumptions.
Develops or maintains multiple technical publication elements for all levels of maintenance for fielded equipment systems or subsystems.
Coordinates the preparation of illustrative materials.
Conducts quality and in-process reviews and validations of technical publications.

Requirements

General working level knowledge of hydromechanical aircraft systems, subsystems, and components
2 or more years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
A&P license or associate’s degree or higher in a technical field of study (preferred)
4 or more years of experience in military or civilian aircraft maintenance (preferred)
4 or more years of experience authoring technical publications (preferred)
4 or more years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, 3D models, wiring diagrams, and interface control documents (preferred)
