Work with Boeing data systems (IRE, EAS, PMAS, CSPR, etc) to create databases and data tools and manage ETL processes
Understand how different data sources connect and link them for various data tool solutions
Leverage statistical software (JMP, R, etc.) to build analytical models and perform analyses
Develop analytical solutions for imperfect datasets and perform data normalization
Map data to common baselines to normalize and analyze cross-platform data
Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to power data analysis and estimating solutions
Influence colleagues and customers to use mathematical tools and processes
Code, test and maintain data tools and analytical models
Lead and support design of cost models, dashboards, metrics and reports to support cost analysis objectives
Independently determine and develop approaches to mathematically sound assessments in support of cost estimates and contribute to new principles and concepts
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, operations research, information systems, bioinformatics, economics, computational biology, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry or similar quantitative fields)
Experience with at least one of the following data modeling tools: SQL, Python, PySpark, R/RStudio, Databricks, Dataiku, Tableau, Pandas, NumPy, JMP
1+ years of experience or graduate degree in databasing and data normalization, large language models (LLM), or running advanced statistical analysis on datasets
Experience working with Boeing data systems (IRE, EAS, PMAS, CSPR) and managing ETL processes
Experience leveraging statistical software such as JMP, R, and others to build analytical models
Experience developing analytical solutions for imperfect datasets and data normalization
Experience mapping data to common baselines to normalize and analyze cross platform data
Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) for data analysis
Coding, testing and maintaining data tools and analytical models
Experience designing cost models, dashboards, metrics and reports
Knowledge of advanced statistics: probability theory, distributions, descriptive statistics, matrix algebra, multivariate statistics, polynomial analysis, parametric and non-parametric methods
Experience in machine learning, language modeling, computer vision, time-series analysis, unsupervised clustering, optimization algorithms, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, sampling methods, or data mining
Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) design and application
Experience analyzing technical data and performing parametric estimates
Experience with estimating techniques and Cost Estimating Relationships (CER) development
Experience in defense industry (preferred)
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to communicate and present to leadership
Must meet export control compliance requirements: be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
