💰 $110,500 - $136,500 per year
About the role
- Support Boeing Defense, Space & Security Exploration Systems Supply Chain on the Space Launch Systems (SLS) Exploration Upper Stage (EUS) program
- Provide technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities
- Lead stakeholder relationships and supplier performance throughout all contract phases
- Conduct and guide supplier assessments
- Develop current and projected work statements and execute work movement plans
- Lead and establish basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans
- Communicate supplier and organization performance plans, risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders
- Work closely with key EUS suppliers, SLS Program Leadership, and Supply Chain Leadership to support schedule acceleration and execution to meet NASA customer needs
- Position expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed locations and is 1st shift
- May require travel up to 50% and is subject to drug testing as a NASA safety-sensitive role
Requirements
- Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree (mathematic, scientific or information technology field)
- More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- More than 3 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- Ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility
- U.S. Person required to meet export control compliance (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

- Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense (relocation assistance not provided)
- Position may require travel up to 50% of the time
- Preferred: More than 3 years of experience in development environment in Engineering, Supply Chain, Program or Project Management
- Preferred: More than 3 years of experience managing troubled suppliers
- Preferred: More than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
- Typical: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work
- This is a NASA safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing
