About the role
- Lead a team of metrology technicians at the MATES Seattle, WA calibration lab
- Work closely with business partners and airplane programs
- Provide lab oversight and approve technical approaches
- Respond to production and customer-related issues
- Lead initiatives to influence cross-functional improvements
- Actively manage lab operations using established Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery metrics
- Responsible for coaching, counseling, mentoring, and providing developmental opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building strong business partner relationships
- 1+ years of experience managing projects
- Experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed
