About the role
- Design and implement factory floor connectivity architectures to collect data from manufacturing equipment
- Manage integration of factory data with enterprise information systems and IIoT platforms
- Develop full stack solutions for modernizing factory data collection and integration platforms
- Develop and validate data models, time-series ingestion pipelines, and data quality checks
- Support creation of dashboards, visualizations, and alerting for machine performance and production bottlenecks
- Establish and document best practices for edge device configurations, data encryption, and OT/IT network segmentation
Requirements
- 5+ years in leading the design of IT Solutions for manufacturing-based environments
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure development, scripting and automation
- 3+ years in data-centric roles, such as data modeling and database administration
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills in a factory environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent preferred
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0, Digital Transformation, and Unified Namespace concepts
- Familiarity with industrial protocols and interfaces (OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, etc.)
