About the role
- New design, integration, test, and sustainment of mechanical systems
- Systems requirements analysis and development
- Test planning, assessment, and reporting
- Develop and review engineering drawings and models
- Support design configuration control using Product Life Management systems
- Develop cable designs and routing for integration into complex assemblies
- Ability to generate briefings and present to customers
- Conduct failure analysis of hardware and associated test equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering
- 2 or more years' related engineering work experience for Associate Level 2
- 5 or more years' related engineering work experience for Mid-career Level 3
- Experience working both independently and in team environments
- Experience applying engineering processes and principles
- Experience utilizing engineering tools such as DOORS, CAMEO, CATIA, NX, AutoCAD, etc.
- Experience with failure analysis of hardware, test equipment, or other complex systems
- Ability to generate briefings and present briefings to internal and external customers
- Technical writing skills to include generating plans, procedures, memorandums, reports, technical orders, drawings, etc.
