About the role
- Develop and maintain weight, balance and mass properties accounting systems and generate required weight and balance reports
- Support and develop mass properties processes and tools
- Provide visibility of mass properties information to integrated product teams, management, and customers
- Provide complex vehicle or system configuration guidance
- Define complex weight, balance and mass properties related design requirements
- Review contract statement of work requirements
- Define task execution details, estimate task durations, and schedule and monitor team task execution
- Gather internal and external customer requirements and develop innovative solutions for mass properties analysis
- Guide and mentor less experienced engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 9+ years of experience with weights and mass property engineering
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestic or internationally
