About the role

  • Develop and maintain weight, balance and mass properties accounting systems and generate required weight and balance reports
  • Support and develop mass properties processes and tools
  • Provide visibility of mass properties information to integrated product teams, management, and customers
  • Provide complex vehicle or system configuration guidance
  • Define complex weight, balance and mass properties related design requirements
  • Review contract statement of work requirements
  • Define task execution details, estimate task durations, and schedule and monitor team task execution
  • Gather internal and external customer requirements and develop innovative solutions for mass properties analysis
  • Guide and mentor less experienced engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 9+ years of experience with weights and mass property engineering
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestic or internationally
