Maintaining strong oversight of licensing and entitlement data
Building trust and alignment with teams across the enterprise and external vendors
Coordinating communication and driving shared accountability to support broader business goals
Developing and building an end-to-end SAM governance function supported by standardized policies, procedures and tools in a matrixed environment
Monitoring and tracking license expirations, renewals, and usage metrics to ensure compliance and business continuity
Collaborating with Procurement, IT, Security teams and others to support software acquisition and renewal processes
Providing reporting and insights into license utilization, gaps, and optimization opportunities
Responding to internal audits, vendor audits, and compliance assessments

Requirements

7+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Security, or related IT operational roles
5+ years of experience in a managerial role
3+ years of experience in general software licensing models (e.g., perpetual, subscription, user/device-based, SaaS, concurrent, etc.) and vendor terms (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.)
Experience working with ITAM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, etc.)
Experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
