About the role
- Develops program architecture, organizational work structure, and top-level execution plans to meet the objectives
- Supports the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metrics
- Establishes, tracks, and manages team performance to the KC-46 Support and Training on-time delivery metrics
- Identifies key program-level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers
- Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan
- Establishes and communicates objectives and goals to ensure common direction and delivery of high-quality products and services on-time
- Implements customer and program communication and contact plans
- Utilizes knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various departments/disciplines to optimize work-flow and identify/mitigate risks to proposal schedules
- Integrates the implementation of the Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
- Performs work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
- Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
- 3+ years’ experience managing and prioritizing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)
- Experience with the KC-46A Pegasus or other large, fixed wing aircraft
