About the role
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems
- Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency
- Support delivery center operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers
- Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations
- Support delivery center flyaway operations and production of advanced platforms for Air Proprietary programs
- Work 100% onsite at the assigned facility and comply with security clearance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers (preferred)
- Experience with 3D model based instruction (preferred)
- Experience with tools: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi- Monitor Collaborative Rooms (preferred)
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci) (preferred)
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required for clearance
- Export control compliance: must meet “U.S. Person” definition (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

- Ability to work 100% onsite at Mascoutah, IL or Berkeley, MO
