About the role

  • Partner closely with business or functional risk owners to develop remediation and mitigation strategies
  • Conduct focused root cause analyses and drive effective corrective action plans
  • Proactively engage with business partners to identify and manage compliance risks
  • Translate legal and regulatory requirements into operational controls
  • Provide advice and support to business on compliance issues
  • Prioritize compliance risks strategically to focus resources on critical issues
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to advance compliance risk management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, engineering or related discipline
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, or law
  • Adept at working in a cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct risk-based assessments and analysis of data and processes
  • Skilled in conducting root cause analyses, and developing and executing action plans
  • Experience with risk management tools and techniques (e.g., AuditBoard, GRC tooling, Tableau, Power BI)
