About the role
- Develop and manage configuration tools, feature strategies and offering structures to enable airplane configuration definition.
- Use customer knowledge, data analytics, regulatory, in-service and production insight and industry trends to ensure feature offerings provide customer and Boeing value.
- Communicate feature and product offering and significant configuration change information to customers and Customer Engineering Account Managers.
- Provide Programs, customers, and configuration teams with feature strategy, customer and industry knowledge, airplane configuration data, and feature product information.
- Ensure Boeing leads the industry by providing technical advancements that result in increased market share and profit for the Boeing Company.
- Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally at approximately 10% of the time, as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
- 9 or more years of engineering experience in Boeing Commercial Airplanes (preferred).
- Experience in customer or supplier-facing roles (preferred).
- Master’s degree in Engineering or a Master of Business Administration (MBA) (preferred).
