Focal for the development and implementation of complex engineering initiatives, including rollout of major engineering and software tools, lean and quality projects, and key Process & Tools priorities.
Responsible for the planning, road-mapping, resource identification, and execution of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and software packages.
Serve as the primary liaison to AvionX Product Lines to elicit, document, and validate system and tool requirements
Translate Product Line requirements into actionable solution specifications and clear acceptance criteria for engineering and IT implementation teams
Collaborate closely with the IT organization to align Product Line priorities with enterprise roadmaps, resource capacity, and governance processes; jointly develop prioritization frameworks
Responsible for the strategic management of our tool deployments, cutovers, sunsetting activities, acceptance testing, and adoption plans for AvionX Product Lines
Identifies technology needs from a hardware, software, and cloud computing perspective in conjunction with key leaders
Develops concise and pointed engineering presentations to drive communication and execution of AvionX Engineering goals and priorities.
Maintain and provide detailed engineering metrics and KPI’s on all associated projects.
Proposes new projects and initiatives based on findings and experience within the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
8+ years of experience in information technology, software engineering, digital transformation or application lifecycle management
5+ years of experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data
3+ years of experience leading projects in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team including designers, engineers, writers, product managers and software developers
3+ years of experience in an Aerospace/Defense business
