About the role

  • Support the development of solutions to a wide range of complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation in Emulation team
  • Assist DevSecOps lead to manage cloud infrastructure, development pipelines, deployment pipelines, and computing infrastructure compliance
  • Assist with configuring various AWS services
  • Continuously improve stability, efficiency, and performance of CI/CD pipelines
  • Assist in maintaining servers to meet Boeing’s security and operational standards
  • Help develop, maintain, and administer tools supporting Export Compliance, Software License Compliance, metrics, and assigned user groups/projects
  • Participate in roadmap and planning activities for DevSecOps tasks and initiatives
  • Gather information to develop, document and maintain standardized processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics
  • Assist to automate, develop, monitor, improve and troubleshoot across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls
  • Aid in analyzing, planning, and executing mitigation strategies for security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities
  • Assist to implement an environment enabling high levels of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Provide data to support collaboration with cross functional teams to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software engineering systems
  • Assist to implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations in the software engineering DevSecOps environment

Requirements

  • Experience with any of the following software development languages: Ada, C, C++, C#, JAVA, and Python
  • Experience with software tools, software troubleshooting, and scripting
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
  • "U.S. Person" export control compliance required (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Less than 10% travel
  • Drug-free workplace; subject to testing post-offer
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Preferred: Experience in Windows, Linux and real-time operating systems
  • Preferred: Experience in Cloud technologies, e.g. AWS
  • Preferred: Knowledge of cloud architecture
  • Preferred: Ability to automate and script
  • Preferred: Knowledge of containerization technologies
  • Preferred: Knowledge of networking concepts including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and security
  • Preferred: Knowledge of CI/CD and cultural philosophies for continuous integration and delivery
  • Preferred: Knowledge of host environments, processors, operating systems and networks
  • Preferred: Ability to build, integrate and troubleshoot software components
  • Preferred: Knowledge of software programming languages and databases
  • Preferred: Ability to design and develop automation of software tests
