About the role
- Support a production team or organization directly integrated with the Boeing Production System.
- Learn the production build processes within their team while developing an understanding of the standards and processes of our function.
- Stabilize the production system, implement lean methodologies, assess and perform to rate readiness requirements, and improve quality through root cause analysis.
- Build disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis to get back to the baseline plan while mitigating impacts to the downstream work statement and major milestones.
- Collaborate with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and be a self-starter as well as a team player.
- Learn all aspects of the Aerospace Manufacturing environment, exploring and learning the complete production system from supply chain production readiness, to fabrication of raw materials, assembly, and installation, and supporting deliveries to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business related curriculum such as: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics or Math
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
- 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or a production environment
- Exposure to working in a team environment.
- Exposure or application of Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles
- Exposure or application of Project Management skills
