About the role
- Support the goals and objectives of various Boeing commercial programs
- Provide production support for 737MAX Skyline program aircraft painting and interior installation
- Conduct failure root cause analysis for fuselage paint peel off
- Support new interior supplier qualification
- Manage and execute the interior material evaluation and tests
- Support audit interiors programs to qualify suppliers
- Ensure materials, processes and equipment readiness at suppliers
- Interface with stakeholders in Boeing procurement and quality organizations
- Support Boeing Technology Innovation (BTI) China Zhoushan Lab AS9100 quality management system setup
- Actively engage and support supply chain strategy execution on China Interior Center
Requirements
- Education Engineering and/or Science degree of Bachelor or above in Material Science, Material Engineering or similar degrees
- Minimum of 8 years proven experience on commercial airplane interior materials, parts or processes with OEM and/or suppliers in relevant application areas
- Sound technical and domain experience in polymers and chemical materials
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to lead root-cause and corrective action in a structured manner
- Prior experience with commercial airplane materials, parts or processes with OEM or sub-tier suppliers
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
