About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As a member of the global IT team, the candidate will provide expert IT consultancy and operational support to research scientists globally
Act as key business consultant for IT solutions and digital initiatives including assisting systems, processes and digital/AI technologies
Play a key role in global IT product team(s), and analyze, plan, design and build IT solutions to address needs in biological research and development
Develop and maintain productive and constructive rapport with key business contacts
Actively collaborate with IT service teams, research units, and external vendors for stable support and maintenance of our IT system landscape.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor in Computer Science/Information technology, Biology, Chemistry, Engineer or related areas, and an advanced degree in those areas is a plus
3+ years of experience IT support in R&D processes, especially hand-on experience for IT systems or devices in pharmaceutical research environment
2+ years working experience with at least one programming languages such as Python, Java .NET and PLSQL, relational database such as PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server, Oracle, and operation systems such as Linux and Windows
2+ years of experience with IT project management, any certificate in project management, CPI, or scrum is a plus
Work effectively and independently or as a team member, act proactively with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility, and have strong communication skills in English with a passion for working in a virtual, international, multicultural and diversity environment.
