About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive and shape globally the sourcing category “Architectural and Engineering Services” for CapEx (investment) projects
- Create and implement the global category strategy
- Lead strategic supplier management and establish international contracts
- Align activities with global sourcing and business strategy
- Provide guidance on establishing and monitoring CapEx projects regarding contracting methodologies and KPI tracking
- Govern and monitor major CapEx projects from a sourcing perspective
- Build effective partnerships with suppliers to deliver optimal sourcing value to the business.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in business administration with strong knowledge of CapEx project-management processes, or equivalent long-term professional experience
- Several years of contracting/sourcing/purchasing experience for Architectural and Engineering Services in local or international markets
- Strong project-management skills in complex investment projects
- Deep legal expertise in contract law (German law of obligations)
- Global and intercultural working experience, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and willingness to travel internationally
- Strong communication and change-management skills
- Very good command of German and business-fluent English.
