About the role

  • Define and drive the data and AI strategy for the Animal Health Business Unit, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Identify, prioritize, and govern a portfolio of high-impact data and AI use cases across the entire value chain.
  • Benchmark internal capabilities against industry peers and integrate leading practices.
  • Guide the implementation of roadmaps, monitor progress, and ensure measurable business impact.
  • Lead change management initiatives to embed data and AI into core business processes.
  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks and oversee data quality and compliance activities.
  • Build internal capabilities and manage external partnerships and data acquisition.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Business, IT, HR and key markets.
  • Actively support and co-drive the implementation of selected high-priority use cases to ensure tangible value creation and provide hands-on support for functional DVOs.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • Several years of leadership experience in an international environment, preferably within Pharma or Animal Health.
  • Strong change management capabilities and proven experience driving cultural transformation.
  • Extensive professional experience in data, digital, and/or business transformation.
  • Deep expertise in data strategy, AI use cases, data governance, and digital transformation.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills up to executive and board level.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to develop clear storylines, facilitate engaging workshops, and lead effective stakeholder meetings.
