About the role

  • As a Web Developer*, you will play a key role on our team and work on the further development and optimization of our backend/frontend services and website.
  • Your main responsibilities include: advancing our existing backend built with Python (FastAPI), deployed on Azure in Kubernetes.
  • Further development of our existing Flutter-based frontends (Web & Mobile).
  • Expansion of our website and related web services.
  • Designing and implementing AI-supported features in both backend and frontend.

Requirements

  • Must-have: Backend development: Experience with Python—ideally with FastAPI—and a deep understanding of RESTful APIs and modern backend architectures.
  • Cloud & containers: Familiar with cloud technologies—preferably Microsoft Azure—and experienced with Docker and Kubernetes to build scalable solutions.
  • Web & CMS: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as experience working with CMS systems and website maintenance.
  • Self-reliance: You work independently and can take projects from concept to implementation, e.g. based on knowledge from completed vocational training or a degree.
  • Open-minded: In a startup environment, curiosity and the willingness to engage with new areas/environments/languages etc. is essential.
  • Communication: Good German (at least C1) and very good English skills. Team player with a willingness to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Nice-to-have: The following additional skills and experience are a bonus but not required: AI integration: Experience integrating AI technologies (e.g. agent-based systems) in a Python context.
  • App development: Strong knowledge of Flutter applications and a good sense for connecting frontend and backend are part of your daily work.
