About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership and direction to site’s HR team in recruiting, new hire orientation, training, employee relations, and HRIS database management
  • Lead talent acquisition, assimilation, and development initiatives for all site’s employees
  • Provide advice and counsel to site’s leadership and management teams on all human resources and employment matters
  • Partner with Operations and L&D to assess needs, plan, and design training processes at the plant level
  • Manage sites’ succession plan and ensure skills development training is met
  • Conduct incident investigations as needed
  • Manage all employee relations activities and grievance resolution
  • Maintain compliance for EEO reporting and other required audits
  • Participate in global HR projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related HR certification(s)
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment
  • Solid experience with HRIS systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of HR related laws, i.e. FMLA, COBRA, EEOC, ADA, etc.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Must have a strong command of the English Language, Spanish strongly preferred.
