About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide leadership and direction to site’s HR team in recruiting, new hire orientation, training, employee relations, and HRIS database management
- Lead talent acquisition, assimilation, and development initiatives for all site’s employees
- Provide advice and counsel to site’s leadership and management teams on all human resources and employment matters
- Partner with Operations and L&D to assess needs, plan, and design training processes at the plant level
- Manage sites’ succession plan and ensure skills development training is met
- Conduct incident investigations as needed
- Manage all employee relations activities and grievance resolution
- Maintain compliance for EEO reporting and other required audits
- Participate in global HR projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related HR certification(s)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment
- Solid experience with HRIS systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge of HR related laws, i.e. FMLA, COBRA, EEOC, ADA, etc.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Must have a strong command of the English Language, Spanish strongly preferred.
