About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary service escalation for a portfolio of high-value clients
  • Develop and execute client retention strategies
  • Monitor and assess client health through reviews, metrics, and feedback loops
  • Identify client risks and implement preventative actions
  • Collaborate with Operations, Product, Risk, and Legal to deliver seamless service and resolve complex issues
  • Collaborate with Client Coverage Sales and Relationship Management to drive service success and future commercial opportunities
  • Anticipate client needs and stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and BNY-initiated change
  • Offer proactive insights and solutions
  • Advocate for clients in product development, service enhancements, and process improvements
  • Uphold governance, risk management, and compliance standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10–12 years of client service or relationship management experience in Corporate Trust or related financial services
  • 1–3 years of management experience preferred
  • Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of client retention and satisfaction
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze client health metrics and translate insights into action
  • Deep understanding of Corporate Trust products, market dynamics, and operational processes
  • Client-obsessed mindset and passion for service excellence
  • Knowledge of client advocacy, relationship/service management, problem resolution, strategic planning, risk and compliance awareness, and cross-functional collaboration
