About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent the Platform in senior-level discussions with clients, external regulators, and senior internal stakeholders from Risk, Audit, Compliance, and Compliance Testing
- Assess and address non-financial risk drivers related to Conduct and Supervision and implement solutions
- Oversee 1st Line Surveillance and Best Execution for the Platform
- Apply deep product knowledge and understanding of trading techniques, venues, and data flows
- Lead system development and change management, including building control systems and structures that support business managers
- Oversee implementation of change management projects and, when required, work with Enterprise Change teams
- Ensure documentation and systems infrastructure remain appropriate
- Conduct deep dives and identify control enhancements, additional control frameworks, and process improvements
- Facilitate supervisory meetings, training, and Platform-wide Supervisory and Conduct communications
- Directly manage senior managers and potentially oversee geographically dispersed teams through matrixed management
- Ensure achievement of goals and objectives
- Provide guidance to senior risk managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
- Advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of total work experience
- 5–7 years of management experience preferred
- Experience in Financial Services preferred
- Deep product knowledge
- Understanding of trading techniques, venues, and data flows
- Ability to build control systems and structures
- Ability to lead system development and change management
