About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Represent the Platform in senior-level discussions with clients, external regulators, and senior internal stakeholders from Risk, Audit, Compliance, and Compliance Testing
Assess and address non-financial risk drivers related to Conduct and Supervision and implement solutions
Oversee 1st Line Surveillance and Best Execution for the Platform
Apply deep product knowledge and understanding of trading techniques, venues, and data flows
Lead system development and change management, including building control systems and structures that support business managers
Oversee implementation of change management projects and, when required, work with Enterprise Change teams
Ensure documentation and systems infrastructure remain appropriate
Conduct deep dives and identify control enhancements, additional control frameworks, and process improvements
Facilitate supervisory meetings, training, and Platform-wide Supervisory and Conduct communications
Directly manage senior managers and potentially oversee geographically dispersed teams through matrixed management
Ensure achievement of goals and objectives
Provide guidance to senior risk managers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
Advanced degree preferred
15+ years of total work experience
5–7 years of management experience preferred
Experience in Financial Services preferred
Deep product knowledge
Understanding of trading techniques, venues, and data flows
Ability to build control systems and structures
Ability to lead system development and change management
