Key responsibilities & impact
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and their legal teams in partnership with BNY counsel and internal parties
  • Identify and mitigate contractual, operational, and regulatory risks
  • Ensure contracts such as Bond Indentures and Trustee/Paying Agent agreements meet BNY’s risk appetite
  • Coordinate internal and external parties to facilitate accurate and timely onboarding on Bank systems
  • Deliver high-quality client service and anticipate client needs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and efficiency
  • Foster risk awareness and promptly escalate risk exposures
  • Provide insights and recommendations for informed decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong educational background
  • Experience in Corporate Trust and/or transaction management in asset-backed securities and mortgage-backed securities
  • Ability to work under tight and demanding deadlines
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationship difficulties in a time-sensitive, pressured environment
  • Ability to investigate and propose innovative legal solutions for complex matters while upholding enterprise documentation standards
