About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with sales professionals covering Corporate, Alternative Asset Management, Real Estate, Municipal and Wealth clients
  • Deliver interest rate risk management solutions
  • Manage and deepen existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Originate, structure and execute interest rate risk management transactions, including swaps, caps, treasury locks, forward-starting swaps, swaptions and cross-currency swaps
  • Advise CFOs, Treasurers and Finance teams on balance sheet management, liability management and interest rate risk
  • Develop and communicate market commentary, macroeconomic perspectives and trade ideas
  • Translate market developments, central bank policy and yield curve dynamics into actionable client recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to expand the franchise through new products, emerging markets, hedging solutions and client coverage strategies
  • Advance strategic initiatives supporting franchise growth
  • Partner with Trading, Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, Treasury Services, Debt Capital Markets, Credit and Risk teams
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations and strategic insights
  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of derivative transactions, including onboarding, ISDA documentation, credit approvals and execution
  • Maintain a sales pipeline, identify cross-sell opportunities and contribute to team revenue objectives
  • Prepare business overviews with pipeline reporting, revenue trends, wallet opportunities and year-over-year analysis
  • Provide revenue forecasting and business performance reporting
  • Mentor junior professionals and contribute to a client-focused sales culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in Interest Rate Derivatives Sales
  • Preference for corporate risk management and hedging advisory experience
  • Strong relationships with corporate treasury professionals, including CFOs, Treasurers, Assistant Treasurers and Finance teams
  • Deep knowledge of interest rate derivatives products, fixed income markets and macroeconomic trends
  • Strong understanding of corporate debt structures, liability management strategies and treasury risk management practices
  • Ability to formulate and communicate market views, generate actionable hedging ideas and advise clients through changing market environments
  • Deep understanding of client liquidity, financing and risk management needs
  • Proven ability to originate new business and grow wallet share
  • Experience partnering with Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, Treasury Services and Capital Markets teams
  • Strong understanding of ISDA Master Agreements, Credit Support Annexes, collateral arrangements and derivatives documentation frameworks
  • Experience negotiating ISDA agreements, CSA terms, collateral provisions, threshold structures and credit support requirements
  • Knowledge of counterparty credit risk, collateral management, derivatives onboarding and transaction approval workflows
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg and Tradeweb
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills
  • Track record of exceptional client service and engagement
  • Entrepreneurial drive, intellectual curiosity, commercial judgment and initiative
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across trading, banking, legal, credit and risk management functions
