About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serves as team supervisor/manager for day-to-day operations of a medium to large-sized Middle Office support team.
  • Manages daily activities for a Middle Office support team servicing multiple funds and aligns team resources to complete daily tasks.
  • Oversees review of data, issue escalations, and complex matters; acts as the first line supervisor for task assignment and issue resolution.
  • Directs, motivates, and develops staff while ensuring work quality, compliance with service level agreements, and proper review/documentation of work.
  • Provides oversight on review of exceptions, manages escalation and correction of errors, and resolves complex escalated issues.
  • Provides product knowledge and technical assistance on moderately complex problems and serves as the team’s initial escalation point.
  • Prepares performance reviews, provides ongoing feedback, and helps develop team objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school/secondary school or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Mutual fund industry background is preferred.
  • 5–7 years of technical and/or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience in accounting support or the mutual fund industry is preferred.
