About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides assistance to the trading desk with client order execution.
- Liaises with support full allocation, settles issues on the life cycle of the trade.
- Facilitates orders for internal departments. Provides initial recommendations on the pricing of securities.
- May execute smaller or less complex trades and determine appropriate prices for transactions.
- Assists in the trading and management of a book of business.
- Functions independently with delegated responsibilities from more senior traders.
- Executes all correspondence requisites with a basic understanding of the underlying business and specific client needs.
- Tracks trades and corrects routine trade problems.
- Completes assigned research assignments for the Trading function.
- Handles routine client inquiries and run reports as necessary.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 0-3 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in trading or brokerage preferred.
