About the role
- Collaborate with business sponsors, HR partners, and senior leadership to align program goals with business needs.
- Provide advisory support on performance management, headcount planning, and talent development.
- Regularly engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their needs, and incorporate their input into program improvements and strategic planning.
- Partner with Learning & Development to deliver training and continuous learning opportunities.
- Guide early careers talent through career progression, mobility, and performance cycles.
- Design, implement, and improve talent development programs for early career professionals to support BNY’s goal of building future-ready talent.
- Oversee all aspects of assigned early careers programs including onboarding, placement, performance management, training and development, off-boarding, and leadership communications, ensuring seamless delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Generate ideas and lead process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing program effectiveness, efficiency, and participant experience across different talent segments, in alignment with the BNY’s principle to Spark Progress.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program impact and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging program culture that supports BNY’s pillar to Power our Culture by elevating the experience and sense of belonging for all talent, with a focus on early career engagement.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent development, recruiting, and early career engagement, applying a Stay Curious mindset to innovate and adapt programs accordingly.
- Act as a role model and leader within the talent development and early careers teams, promoting collaboration and trust consistent with the Thrive Together principle.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of Early Careers Program Management, People Business Partnering, Learning and Development or other HR related experience
- Experience designing and managing talent development programs across multiple talent segments, including early careers.
- Proven success in engaging early career talent, with knowledge of their unique needs and motivations.
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with HR, recruiting, and business leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop talent, fostering career growth and alignment with organizational goals.
- Track record of driving process improvements and innovation in talent programs, supported by data and KPIs.
