About the role

  • We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead initiatives for BNY’s digital asset business. The candidate will be pivotal in bringing new products and services to market by leading product design, project planning and execution efforts. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of financial market structure, the lifecycle of a trade from execution to settlement, and blockchain-based technology.
  • Strategy: Help define the near and long-term product strategy, through deep industry engagement, market analysis and understanding emerging trends
  • Ensure product alignment with BNY’s mission and principles
  • Help shape industry best practices
  • Product Design: Translate client needs into commercial product solutions
  • Craft product roadmap to ensure incremental and prompt product delivery
  • Commercial Analysis: Understand the regulatory environment and product feasibility
  • Define target client segment and go-to-market strategy
  • Conduct competitive market research and analysis
  • Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional subject matter experts
  • Communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels
  • Adhere to product governance framework
  • Performance Metrics: Establish support model across the product lifecycle
  • Track product performance across operational, technical and commercial indicators
  • Collect client and internal feedback for continuous product improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 6+ years relevant industry experience in digital assets, trading, or financial services product management.
  • Experience working on a trading desk, an exchange or an electronic trading platform a plus
  • Must exhibit flexibility and be able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment where new challenges arise and priorities shift.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
