About the role
- Support Data Governance Implementation Lead in implementing a robust Data Governance Operating Model
- Help drive adoption of data quality standards
- Collaborate with business units, data consumers, and data producers to identify critical data elements
- Facilitate and assist in identification of physical data elements in support of data lineage analysis activities
- Work closely with data management teams to ensure alignment and adherence to enterprise data management policies and standards
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Data Governance Operating Model and provide guidance to stakeholders
Requirements
- Experienced hands-on Data and Metadata Management, from concept to implementation
- Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) data
- 3-5 years of total work experience in operational activities (business analysis, testing, etc.)
- Strong people skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure
- Understanding of data governance principles and regulatory requirements (e.g. BCBS 239, GDPR)
- Experience with data governance tooling and technologies
