About the role

  • Establish and govern a robust pipeline of AI projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Technology, BNY AI Hub, Operations, Risk, Product, Distribution, and Compliance to lead projects from ideation through execution.
  • Develop partnerships with senior leaders in Investments to understand strategic objectives and prioritize initiatives.
  • Develop and execute internal capability-building programs, including training sessions, workshops, and firm-wide hackathons.
  • Define, measure, and communicate clear KPIs, regularly showcasing the measurable impact of AI initiatives through concise internal communications.
  • Monitor external trends and maintain awareness of emerging generative AI tools and propose opportunities for strategic innovation.
  • Report to the Chief Operating Officer of BNY Investments with a dotted-line to the Head of Business Analysis; drive and coordinate AI initiatives across BNY Investments and Wealth.
  • Position ideally based in Pittsburgh with potential flexibility for Boston or New York; domestic and international travel to EMEA and APAC may be required.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in financial services, management consulting, technology, or fintech.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing meaningful change and driving large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Experience bridging technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver practical and impactful solutions.
  • Familiarity with and demonstrated interest in generative AI tools and their business applications.
  • Skilled communicator capable of engaging diverse executive stakeholders and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Ability to be based in or work from Pittsburgh, Boston, or New York.
