About the role

  • Oversee the Global Remote workforce function by providing practical and consistent support and guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Create and agree annual HR plans and budgets.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive culture, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Identify and address knowledge and skill gaps.
  • Implement succession planning for all key roles.
  • Oversee team recognition and engagement initiatives.
  • Review and advise upon HR organisational structure, ensuring that it remains fit for purpose.
  • Maintain personnel records and oversee systems administration.
  • Create HR Handbook and related policies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.
  • Ensure that a robust performance management process is created, communicated, and used effectively.
  • Manage training and development of all staff.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment-related activities and general vacancy management.
  • Ensure updates are made to documentation as and when required.

Requirements

  • CIPD qualified (i.e. Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or other relevant qualification)
  • As an experienced HR Manager, you will have the ability to lead and manage a remote team
  • Experienced in working with remote and virtual teams
  • Passionate about working with people
  • Ability to stay calm whilst under pressure
  • Organised, accurate and methodical with an eye for detail
  • Proficient in use of systems and Google suite
  • Excellent communicator
  • Operates with a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to problem solve, strong tact and diplomacy skills
  • Can-do attitude with the willingness to learn and develop
  • Experience of all aspects of the HR agenda (particularly attracting and retaining the best talent)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Sound working knowledge of employment legislation in relevant jurisdictions.
