About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will be responsible for planning and developing the process and IT environment of the SAP S/4 Extended Warehouse Management (SAP S/4 EWM) system, including conceptual design, integration, and implementation, as well as innovations aimed at improving the processes and systems of the global logistics and production system.
  • You will be working at the Communication Center located within the BMW Group Plant Debrecen, in a modern, digitalized, open office-style environment, together with other office employees and your direct teammates.
  • As part of a 10+-member team, that consists of motivated, experienced colleagues you will working in a state-of-the-art agile cross functional team, utilizing agile methodology.
  • Participating in both system implementation and testing tasks alongside your team, and providing effective solutions through a deep understanding of business processes.
  • You will represent, define and take responsibility for the business requirements towards the IT interface.
  • You ensure and prioritize necessary resources to perform the tasks and to achieve the business goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Educational background - Bachelor degree in IT, economics or related field.
  • Work experience – You gained at least 3 years of experience in SAP S4 is desirable, ideally with EWM module.
  • If you have experience in physical logistics or production would be an advantage.
  • Work schedule – You are willing to work on-site during regular business hours.
  • Remote work may be considered based on alignment with your line manager.
  • Way of working – You have a goal-oriented and structured way of working.
  • Language skills - Very good knowledge of spoken and written English and Hungarian is a must, knowledge of the German language is an advantage.
