About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and co-design of flagship AI use cases together with business and IT teams — from early solution development through implementation on our central AI platform.
Translate business requirements into reusable GenAI solution patterns with a strong focus on prompting & evaluation, knowledge grounding/RAG, and AI security safeguards.
Advise application teams on solution architecture and implementation approaches for customer-facing and business-critical GenAI applications (e.g., chatbots, AI assistants).
Act as a trusted advisor and technical sparring partner to empower teams to apply GenAI tools effectively, securely, and responsibly in an enterprise environment.
Identify gaps and improvement needs in the AI platform based on hands-on co-creation experience, and provide feedback in close collaboration with platform teams.
Work closely with advancements in generative AI, LLM architectures, RAG, agent-based patterns, and AI-assisted development in real flagship projects and apply these pragmatically.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable technical qualification with a strong AI focus.
At least 5 years of experience developing and implementing AI-based solutions in cloud-based, enterprise-wide environments.
Deep hands-on expertise in production-ready GenAI applications, particularly in prompting, grounding, evaluation, and response quality optimization.
Strong architectural understanding of enterprise AI solutions, including AI platforms, APIs, orchestration patterns, and agent-based approaches (preferably on AWS or Azure).
Proven experience implementing secure and compliant AI solutions with appropriate safeguards for data protection, robustness, and regulatory requirements.
Independent, solution-oriented working style, strong collaboration and advisory skills, and experience in agile environments.
Demonstrated experience developing GenAI solutions for seamless, scalable, enterprise-grade operations, plus good German language skills (at least B1) and business-fluent English.
