About the role

  • You will support the analysis of large-scale test-drive data from prototype trials and automatically identify relevant events, patterns, and correlations
  • You will contribute to the interpretation of the derived data and extract well-founded insights for the further development of the engine and transmission application in the V8/V12 powertrain
  • You will help evaluate existing BMW internal analysis tools regarding their performance and suitability
  • You will support the development of new analysis features or prototype tools that enable efficient and scalable data processing
  • You will contribute in a coordinated way to the creation of a structured analysis framework that improves the quality, reproducibility, and significance of future data evaluations
  • Your results will lead to concrete recommendations for the targeted and efficient further development of the application

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a technical degree program (Engineering)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s program
  • Confident user of MS Office; ideally prior experience with MATLAB/Simulink
  • Driver’s license (Class B)
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for modern powertrain development and automobiles
  • Good German and English language skills
