About the role
- You will support our development team in building, testing, and evaluating sub-storage modules (sub-packs).
- You will help validate and substantiate system design and modeling through your test results.
- You will contribute to the design of new tests and provide organizational and hands-on support during module assembly.
- You will actively participate in method development for new safety tests on battery cells and GEN6 sub-storage modules.
- Analyzing experimental and numerical results is also part of your responsibilities.
- You will present your findings in cross-departmental meetings.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
- Basic knowledge of lithium-ion batteries.
- Basic experience with CAD programs such as CATIA is desirable.
- Initial hands-on experience in an experimental/laboratory environment.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Reliable work approach and a high degree of initiative.
- Driver's license (Class B).
- Good German and English skills.
