About the role
- Support a variety of AI tasks within the side-impact crash domain and collaborate with a team of engineers, developers, and students.
- Assist in applying large language models to evaluate vehicle safety performance in crash scenarios.
- Continue infrastructure work initiated by a previous intern, including integration with a GPU workstation.
- Help compare different LLMs and identify the most suitable model for productive use.
- Gain insight into the BMW Group as an employer and build valuable professional connections.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in artificial intelligence, computational mechanics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art LLMs and prompting techniques is an advantage.
- Skills in artificial intelligence are preferred.
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, or other programming languages.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Good proficiency in German and English.
