About the role
- You support the integration of textual, visual, and technical data sources into unified data structures.
- You contribute to the structured capture and linking of vehicle component CAD data with repair manuals.
- You assist in building a multimodal dataset.
- You help prototype and evaluate automated data-matching methods using vision–language models or alternative generative AI technologies.
- You work independently on assigned tasks and receive regular feedback from your supervisor or point of contact.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
- Strong practical programming skills, particularly in Python.
- Good understanding of, and ideally initial practical experience with, concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning — especially Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Knowledge of and experience with CAD models are an advantage.
- Knowledge of and experience with Knowledge Graphs is desirable.
- Good German and English language skills.
