About the role
- The Purchasing Analyst is responsible for conducting cost/price negotiations using cost/price analyses.
- Provide support to internal customers (related to commodities/projects).
- Organize and negotiate all projects, including high-volume projects.
- Responsible for maintaining documentation in compliance with local legislation and BMW Group guidelines.
- Coordinate with other regions across the Americas for project opportunities and participate in cross-functional teams for projects that represent the local market.
- Actively participate in Competence Center meetings for the applicable commodities.
- Responsible for achieving KPIs and targets set by the central department.
- Support, in collaboration with the legal department, the resolution of all contractual and commercial issues.
Requirements
- Experience in procurement at multinational companies, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of SAP and/or other procurement/finance systems.
- Intermediate English required (spoken and written).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Time management skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
