About the role

  • Support the development and application of statistical models for analyzing high-voltage battery and cell data.
  • Help prepare, evaluate, and interpret data with a focus on statistical methods and machine learning.
  • Contribute to exploratory data analyses and hypothesis testing to identify optimization potential in battery technology.
  • Assist in collaborating with experienced data scientists, statisticians, and engineers to develop innovative analytical approaches.
  • Gain insight into current methods in statistics, data science, and their application in electromobility.

Requirements

  • Studies in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical data analysis, machine learning (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow), and data visualization (e.g., Pandas, Seaborn).
  • Experience handling large datasets and data preparation (e.g., with NumPy, AWS services).
  • Basic knowledge of software development methods (e.g., version control, Scrum).
  • Ideally, initial experience with predictive modeling methods and hypothesis testing.
  • Team spirit and strong communication skills.
  • Good English skills; German is a plus.
