About the role

  • Research in generative and agentic systems for CAx workflows, i.e. CAD, CAE, CAM etc.
  • Exploration and implementation of agentic systems and large industry models relevant to vehicle design, testing, and optimization.
  • Development of multimodal models to streamline geometrical and functional automotive design process.
  • Collaboration with academia and industry partners to conceptualize and prototype novel solutions based on real-world use cases.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Experience in AI model development and MLOps with a focus on deep learning, generative models, and large multimodal architectures.
  • Good understanding of CAx artifacts (3D geometry, simulation model, etc.) and related workflows used in product design and development.
  • Proficiency in programming and software/cloud engineering best practices, ideally AgentOps.
  • Experience with technical computing and numerical simulation is a plus.
  • A track record of research contributions (publications, conference talks, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Business-fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
